Well, they are the foundation for many artists who are using polymer clay for their creations. Polymer Clay canes can also be bought from local craft stores, but the designs are simple and have a "of the shelf" look to it. Every cane I design and offer is custom made and exists only about 3 times in total.
Polymer Clay canes vary in size, color and design. The canes can be used for nearly unlimited arts and craft project. Some artists use them to cover other creations or design their own beads and jewelry, only your imagination is the limit.
Ploymer Clay Canes can be sliced very thin or can be formed into anything you like, just like modelling clay, once your project is finished it will be heated in an oven for a certain perion of time which will give it the strengh and hardness needed. Afterwards it can be polished, varnished or just left as is.
